The new Libra was designed as a lower volume OC compared to our downwinder the Allwave Fluctus.
The hull shape is designed to effortlessly navigate through small to medium messy swells. The seat is located forward compared to other Allwave models allowing for more control. The stirring is also very sensitive and agile.
The seat, the drainage system and the safety bungy cord are the same as the Allwave newest models. The back iako is now provided with one more hole (4 in total) allowing for more adjustment towards the weight distribution.
We have tested it under all conditions and have found the Libra to have performed brilliantly. In line with all the other OC the back iako can be vertically adjusted allowing for a personalised weight distribution. The seat is adjustable by simply unlocking the little cord in front and sliding to the desired position prior locking it. The ergonomic seat is designed to allow the athletes comfort and control while padding in the ocean. The iakos are made of aluminum and the rudder and pedals are connected with a spectra cable. The AMA is designed with an aerodynamic shape facilitating gliding while providing maximum buoyancy.
